1. Who can take part
Clients and non-clients aged 18 or over may make referrals. You must provide accurate contact information. Swift Accountancy London employees and self-referrals do not qualify.
2. Qualifying referrals
A qualifying referral is a new prospective client who has not contacted Swift, received a proposal from us or been referred by someone else. Copy the prospect into the introduction email, or ask them to contact Swift directly and name you as their referrer. The prospect must engage Swift for paid services and pay the relevant invoice in full. If two people refer the same prospect, the first eligible referral we record receives the reward.
3. Business referral rewards
We pay £75 for each qualifying sole trader, limited company or limited liability partnership after it pays its first Swift invoice in full. You may make any number of qualifying referrals.
4. Practice referral rewards
For a qualifying accountancy or bookkeeping practice, we pay 2% of the net service fees Swift receives during the practice’s first three years as a client. Net service fees exclude VAT, disbursements, third-party costs, refunds and credits. We calculate the reward each year after the relevant invoices are paid in full.
5. Five-referral bonus
An existing Swift client who makes five or more qualifying business referrals in a calendar year receives £75 for each qualifying referral and a 15% discount on Swift accountancy fees for the following 12 months. The discount excludes VAT, disbursements and third-party costs. It cannot create a cash refund or be transferred.
6. Referred-business discount
A qualifying referred business receives 10% off Swift service fees for its first 12 months as a client. The discount excludes VAT, disbursements and third-party costs. It cannot be combined with another introductory offer unless we agree in writing.
7. Payment and tax
We pay rewards by UK bank transfer. Existing Swift clients may ask for service credit instead. The referrer is responsible for any tax or reporting obligation arising from a reward. We may request information to verify eligibility and make payment.
8. Privacy and consent
Ask the prospective client before making an introduction, then copy them into the email or ask them to contact Swift directly. Do not send someone’s personal contact details without their knowledge. We use referral information to respond to the introduction, run the programme and prevent duplicate or ineligible claims. Read our Privacy policy for more information.
9. Fair use and programme changes
We may refuse a referral or withhold a reward if information is inaccurate, permission was not obtained, or fraud, abuse or a conflict of interest applies. We may change, suspend or withdraw the programme by updating this page. A change will not remove a reward earned under the terms in force when it qualified.
